THE MINI PROJECT

POLICIES & Ts & Cs

This document sets out the privacy policy of The Mini Collective Pty Ltd ABN 44 677 803 520

(referred to in this privacy policy as ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’).

1. Overview

Welcome to our marketplace (“Platform”), a curated space dedicated to human-created goods and content. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Core Principle: No AI Content

The Platform is strictly AI-free. All items listed must be created entirely by a human without the use of generative artificial intelligence at any stage of the creative process. This includes, but is not limited to, image generators, AI writing tools, and AI music or video generators. Minor assistive tools such as spellcheck or grammar correction are permitted only if they do not generate content themselves.

3. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all items are accurately described and genuinely created by human effort. By listing an item, sellers confirm that the work is original and not AI-generated. Sellers may be required to disclose collaborators or production partners and provide proof of their creative process when requested, such as drafts, sketches, or work-in-progress materials.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers agree to use purchased items in accordance with the seller’s terms and must not misrepresent or fraudulently resell items. Buyers are encouraged to report any listings that appear to violate the Platform’s no-AI policy.

5. Verification and Enforcement

The Platform reserves the right to request proof of creation from sellers, remove listings suspected of AI generation, and suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms. Repeated violations may result in permanent removal from the Platform.

6. Intellectual Property

Sellers retain ownership of their work at all times. By listing an item, sellers grant the Platform a license to display, promote, and distribut

e their content within the scope of operating the marketplace.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users may not upload AI-generated content while claiming it is human-made, use automated systems or bots to flood listings, or engage in spam, scams, or manipulation of reviews or platform systems.

8. Disputes

The Platform may assist in mediating disputes between users, but it is not liable for transactions conducted between buyers and sellers.

9. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Community Standards (CS)

1. What We Value

This Platform exists to celebrate craftsmanship, human creativity, intentional work, and transparency in how things are made. It is a space designed to prioritize authenticity and genuine creative effort.

2. Definition of “Slop”

“Slop” refers to mass-produced, low-effort content created with little originality or care. It includes AI-generated material, heavily automated outputs, copycat designs, and content produced primarily for quantity rather than quality.

3. Content Guidelines

Content shared on the Platform must be created by humans without the use of generative AI. Acceptable content includes handmade goods, digital art, writing, music, and other forms of creative work that reflect genuine human effort. Content is not permitted if it is AI-generated, mass-uploaded with minimal variation, plagiarized, derivative, or misleading in how it was created.

4. Authenticity Expectations

Creators are expected to be honest about their process and transparent about how their work is made. Sharing work-in-progress or behind-the-scenes material is encouraged, as it helps build trust within the community. Users should avoid presenting work in a way that falsely suggests it was created differently than it actually was.

5. Respectful Behaviour

All members of the community are expected to treat each other with respect. Harassment, discrimination, and hostility are not tolerated. Feedback should be constructive and communicated in good faith.

6. Reporting and Moderation

Users are encouraged to report content that appears to be AI-generated, spam-like, or misleading. The Platform may take moderation actions such as removing content, issuing warnings, or suspending or banning accounts when necessary.

7. Transparency Culture

The Platform encourages a culture of openness where creators share their process, experiences, and creative journeys. This reinforces the Platform’s commitment to being human-first and builds stronger connections between creators and buyers.

Tagline:

“No AI. No slop. Just human-made.”

If you want, I can also tighten this into a more formal legal version (for investors/compliance) or make it more brand-heavy and punchy.
